Long before the Keik World descended into chaos, it flourished in an age of unparalleled stability and wonder. This era, known as The Age of Harmony, was defined by the dominance of the Elemental Keik Masters (EKM)—six proud guardians of the primal forces: Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Light, and Darkness. These beings, forged by the ancient gods themselves, were manifestations of raw elemental energy, carefully shaped to preserve balance and nurture life.

The Birth of the EKM

In the primordial days of Keik World, magic coursed unchecked, threatening to unravel existence. Recognizing the need for order, the gods intervened. They reached into the volatile streams of magic and essence, channeling them into six distinct forms: the Fire Master, whose flames burned with purpose; the Earth Master, who shaped the foundation of the world; the Water Master, who brought life and calm; the Wind Master, whose breezes carried freedom and change; the Light Master, who illuminated hope; and the Darkness Master, who cloaked the unknown in protection and mystery.

Each EKM was a perfect embodiment of their respective element, tasked with maintaining equilibrium across the Keik World. They worked not only to sustain the balance of nature but also to defend against the encroaching shadows of chaos that occasionally seeped into existence.

For millennia, the EKM upheld their sacred duty, and the Keik World thrived under their watchful care. Kingdoms rose, civilizations flourished, and the magic of the elements intertwined with the lives of the realm's inhabitants. The EKM were revered as living legends, the embodiment of Keik World’s might and potential.

In this golden age, the primal forces existed in perfect harmony, and the Keik World basked in the glow of balance.

The Tensions That Went Unnoticed

Yet, beneath this era of prosperity, the seeds of conflict quietly took root. Over centuries, the elements began to shift ever so slightly, a natural ebb and flow that went unnoticed by the inhabitants of Keik World. The Age of Harmony gave way to what would come to be known as The Thousand-Year Elemental War, a cataclysmic struggle that pitted the EKM against one another and fractured the realm. What began as a proud legacy of unity would unravel into devastation, the consequences of which would be felt for generations to come.
